2023 Grand Marshal

Tony O'Callaghan

The Sound Shore St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee proudly announces the 2023 Grand Marshal, Anthony “Tony” O’Callaghan. Tony will have the honor of leading the annual Sound Shore St. Patrick’s Day Parade as its 11th official Parade Grand Marshal on Sunday March 19th, 2023.

Tony O’Callaghan is the oldest of 5 boys that were born & raised in and around the Sound Shore. He and his family were residents of Rye for 31 years before moving to Port Chester where they currently reside. With close to 40 years of experience as an investment professional, Tony is a Senior VP at UBS Wealth Management, focusing on providing wealth management solutions for senior corporate officers, family offices and high net worth individuals. Both he and his wife Patti are Michigan State University alums.

For nearly two decades, the O’Callaghan Family — Tony & Patti, with their children Tony Jr., Julie, and Bonnie — has been dedicated to the well-being of The Family Center children and youth. The O’Callaghan Family was honored this past Spring by The Family Center with The Sustainer Award.

Tony will be officially introduced as the 2023 Parade Grand Marshal at the annual Golf Outing fundraiser at Westchester Hills CC. He will join a long and illustrious list of past Sound Shore Parade Grand Marshals which include Jim Killoran, Jim Hynes, Kevin Plunkett, Robert McCooey, Jim Sullivan, Valerie O’Keeffe, Raymond “Doc” Kiernan, Chris O’Callaghan, Kate Bialo, and Joe Durney, all notable Sound Shore citizens who graciously contribute to the welfare of our citizenry in many charitable ways.

The Sound Shore St. Patrick’s Day Parade is a celebration of Irish American heritage and the American immigrant experience for the entire Sound Shore community, from Port Chester to Pelham Manor. The parade Scholarship fund has bestowed $40,000 in scholarships to deserving Sound Shore students.
